Mabou Growth Fund Ltd.
Mabou is the headquarters of a very successful company based on medical technology, Halifax Biomedical ltd. At present the company employs 17 technical people. The company is growing and expects to hire more people. However, the influx of new people in the area has created a housing problem. Thus, local leaders have developed this investment company which places a priority on investment in companies developing the local housing stock. While real estate development is a priority, the group is interested in any business that creates jobs in this small rural community.
